 Allen Foxworth is a second generation contractor/builder with deep roots in the low country of South Carolina. He has licenses as a residential builder, SC unlimited builder, real estate broker and series 21, 63 and 39 security advisor. He started out washing his dad’s company trucks on week-ends at the age of 10. Allen’s Dad established a construction business in the area in 1960. His father made sure he grew up with a strong work ethic. He worked in construction on week-ends, holidays and summers while attending public school and college. Allen received his B.S. in Business Management from the University of South Carolina in 1976. Through the years Allen also earned degrees in Land Management from Horry Georgetown Technical College and the Investment Training Institute in Atlanta Georgia.
Allen established his first construction and development business in 1979 with the opening of Atlantic Shores Land Company. This company built the Sheraton Atlantic Shores Hotel in Myrtle Beach with several partners. This project was a learning experience for a young developer and Allen quickly learned he wanted to be more "hands on" in the operation of his company. Upon selling his interest in the hotel he established Foxworth Development Inc. in 1982. Over the last 29 years the company has been involved in numerous projects in the Myrtle Beach area, Charleston SC, Columbia SC, Greenville SC, Hilton Head Island SC, Brevard NC, Amelia Island Florida and Port Aransas Texas. The projects have included luxury condominiums, townhomes, and single family developments. The company prides itself in being a turnkey developer/builder in several projects in the Myrtle Beach area. This includes developing the site, building all of the homes and marketing the projects all under one roof. However, the company is not a cookie cutter tract builder and our communities reflect this spirit. “Our projects define a friendly low country lifestyle with sidewalks and covered porches on our homes that bring you back to traditional neighborhoods where you sit on the front porch and talk to your neighbors.” The completed projects include The Pines at the Ricefields (Pawleys Island), Foxwood (Myrtle Beach), Worthington Estates (Myrtle Beach), Silver Creek (Myrtle Beach), and Silver Fox Landing (Myrtle Beach) and currently The Village at Silver Fox Landing (Myrtle Beach).
Allen is married to June Foxworth. June is a retired educator and she has spent her entire career in Myrtle Beach. They have two daughters, one granddaughter and three grandchildren on the way! They both grew up in this area and have a deep seated love and respect for their community. Allen's task is to build homes and communities we can all be proud of. Twelve hundred single family homes, townhomes, and condominiums later he still gets excited about the companies projects. This includes multimillion dollar luxury homes  as well as entry level cottage homes. "Every home is somebody's dream and our real joy is making this dream a reality."
